Queen of the May

"But I must gather knots of flowers,
And buds and garlands gay,
For I'm to be Queen o' the May, Mother,
I'm to be Queen o' the May."

Alfred Lord Tennyson

Bouquets to all,

  4. Hello:
What a wonderful photograph....such delightful Queens of the May! They remind us of young girls being presented at their confirmation in church.

And, a perfect verse to accompany the image. We love the work of Tennyson.
