Yankee Doodle Dandies

Geneva-on-the-Lake, July 4, 1929

Another Fourth of July celebration at the American Legion. The headliners were local "hoofers", Dorothy Sebastian and Anita Page, who performed a Patriotic tap routine. A dazzling fireworks display followed.

Applause, applause,
Marjorie

  3. Happy 4th to all!

I apologize if I have not left comments on my favorite blogs lately. I am stuck here in the woods with a dial-up connection for the computer. It might as well be an old crank wall-phone. I am lucky to be able to get my posts up and running.

But the lake is beautiful, and all in the family are happy and well.

    Savoring the Season,
    Marjorie
