Here are some wise words about motherhood:
"While we try to teach our children all about life,
our children teach us what life is all about."
(Angela Schwindt)
"The best academy, a mother's knee."
(James Russell Lowell)
"A mother's arms are made of tenderness,
and chldren sleep soundly in them."
(Victor Hugo)
Love from a proud mother-in-training,
Marjorie
Super quotes. I especially like the Schwindt. Happy Mother's Day to you, as well, Marjorie! xx
ReplyDeleteI like the Lowell quote quite a bit.

Oh Marjorie,
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful words and quotes. I love them all. We were out for dinner with our children yesterday (who are all grown up) and were reminiscing about some of the things that we, as parents, did wrong !! We were all laughing about it. It's never easy, being a parent, but, so rewarding. We can't always get it right but we can try our hardest and hopefully do a good job. Our Mother's Day was in March but, Happy Mother's Day to you. OH MARJORIE!!! HELLO! How are you dear one? Are you a mom in training? How wonderful. The greatest profession in the world for we all get our start at mother's knee. Thank you for coming and leaving a comment; I am actually drawing at the moment for a story for my husband! It is cold here today, expecting snow tonight, can you believe that? It may have bypassed us here in the Twin Cities, however, and settled up north. I have a fine cup of tea at my side!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and those you love, from Rabbit Hill, Anita
